Closed Circuit Television or CCTV is a TV system in which signals are not publicly distributed but are monitored, primarily for surveillance and security. CCTV Installation technician are taught to understand the requirement of the customer and install this system as per the needs of the client. They are taught to integrate the hardware and software.

SUCCESS STORY

Gareeb Nawaj is a CCTV Installation Technician, trained by PMKK Empower Pragati in Bijnor.  Gareeb Nawaj had studied till class 12th. Prior to joining the course at a training centre, Gareeb worked as a part-time electrician, repairing home appliances.  He already had some knowledge about the electronics items as he used to repair some small faults, but he wanted to get certified and gain in-depth knowledge so as to increase his employability chances. He approached Empower Pragati, a Skills training centre in Bijnor. During counselling he showed interest towards the CCTV Installation job role. He acquired technical knowledge of CCTV installation job role. This increased his self-confidence and he inculcated interpersonal skills. After completion of the course, he got placed as PCB Assembler in Mahima Enterprises. This course and certification gave him a platform to work on his previous knowledge and shape his career, as he is now employed and earning a livelihood to support his family financially. He earns 8000 per month now.
