3 XAT Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. 4 SNAP SNAP is an MBA entrance exam in India conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU). The exam is the gateway to admission into one of the 15 colleges affiliated to SIU. Candidates qualifying the exam are eligible to get admission to 24 MBA/PGDM courses offered by the university.

5 JEE Main & JEE Advanced The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam for admission into various engineering colleges across the country.

    JEE Main is an entry-level exam with a lower level of difficulty. It comprises two papers.
      Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other prestigious institutions. It is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced.
      Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch. and B. Planning courses.
      JEE Advanced is a national level entrance exam which is conducted for admissions to IITs.

    • Frequency: Twice a year JEE Mains is conducted in 2 phases in January and April. There is usually an intermediate period of 50 days after the JEE Main exam before students appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
6 GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination which is conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India.
It also opens the gateway to booming public sector organisations (PSUs) and in the field of research. Some of the PSUs and research organizations which use GATE score for providing jobs include ONGC, NTPC, GAIL, HPCL, PGCIL, BHEL, BSNL, NHPC, BARC, DRDO, etc.

7 BITSAT : Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is a Computer based online test for Admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

8 KIITEE KIITEE (KIIT Entrance Examination) is a university level examination conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. 11 IAT IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is a computer-based test for admission to the various undergraduate programmes in the seven IISERs, IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras. It is one of the channels to get admission into the 5-year Bachelor of Science - Master of Science. Dual Degree Programme of the IISERs, 4 year BS Degree Programme of IISER Bhopal, Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme of IISc Bangalore, and 4 year BS Programme of IIT Madras.
  • Eligibility: Students should have a minimum of three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam. Other categories of students should have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent degree.

12 NEST National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted jointly by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) , Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The NEST Exam is conducted annually to offer admission for Integrated MSc programmes in: Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

13 CUET PG Common Universities Entrance Test (or CUET) has been introduced for admission into all Undergraduate Programmes such Master’s of Arts, Master’s of Science, Master’s of Laws, M.Voc, , Master's in Computer Applications , Master’s of Business Administration, Master’s of Public Health, Master’s of Physical Education, Master of Technology etc. in all Central Universities as per the National Testing Agency (NTA). Some participating universities include Central University of Odisha, Central University of Andhra Pradesh, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, The English & Foreign Languages University, University of Delhi etc. This is a multiple-choice, computer-based test, and Odia, English and Hindi are among the accepted mediums.

14 ICAR AIEEA (UG) All India Entrance Examination for admission (UG) to fill 15% seats in Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (Other than veterinary sciences) at Agricultural Universities (100% seats at NDRI Karnal, RLBCAU Jhansi & DR. RPCAU PUSA) and for the award of National Talent Scholarship in Agriculture & Allied Science subjects (other than Veterinary Science).

16 CLAT The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralized national-level entrance test for admissions to the 25 out of 27 National Law Universities (NLU) except NLU Delhi and NLU Meghalaya.

17 NEET UG NEET UG is the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test conducted in India for admission to undergraduate medical courses. It is an all-India examination that is taken by students who have completed Class 12th or equivalent.

19 NCHMCT National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE) is a national level hospitality entrance exam for admission in BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). The exam is held annually and it is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the NCHMCT.
20 FTII JET The Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam conducted annually for candidates who want to take admission in postgraduate and post-graduate diploma courses. A Joint Entrance Test (JET) is conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata to shortlist candidates for admission offered by the two institutes.
  • Eligibility- Candidates must be minimum 21 years of age. The minimum educational qualification required for candidates to apply for the FTII JET examination is graduation in any discipline.

21 VITEEE VITEEE, or VIT Engineering Entrance Examination, is an annual test for admission to engineering programs at VIT University in India. It assesses candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, and English.
  • Eligibility- Candidates should have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the +2/Intermediate examination. Candidates from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) will also be eligible to appear for the VITEEE 2024 exam.
    o Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible for admission to B.Tech. Bioengineering and B.Tech. Biotechnology programs. They are also eligible for ECE with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics) but after joining, registering for Mathematics as a bridge course is mandatory.

22 NDA NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to select eligible candidates for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy courses. 23 NATA NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is an aptitude test that measures the aptitude of the applicant for a specific field of study i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides other learning. It is accepted for admission by institutions like Christ University, Bangalore, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) etc.

25 NID : : National Institute of Design Design Aptitude Test (DAT) commonly known as NID DAT is a qualifying exam for B.Des and M.Des admission at National Institute of Design campuses like NID Ahmedabad, NID Assam, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Madhya Pradesh etc.
